Games are fun additions to every classroom. Entertain your children during their free time with educational games and puzzles.

Most educational settings do not explicitly teach their students during every hour of the school day. Children are given breaks, such as lunch and recess. Recess is an excellent time for students to play around outside and exercise their imaginations. But recess does not have to be limited to the outdoors. Give your students the option of staying indoors and playing fun and educational games. Turn cold-weather recess days into game-time!

Games are also great for giving your students a break from the typical school day curriculum. With games you can entertain and educate at the same time. So why not hit two birds with one stone!

  • Math Games are a fun way to exercise the logical portion of children's minds. Hand out a game of sudoku from Start to Finish Seasonal Sudoku. These classic puzzles use pictures and colors rather than numbers. They will help to enhance critical thinking skills and deductive reasoning. You can also practice addition with your pupils with fun games like Zap Addition Card Game. Practice essential skills and have fun at the same time!

  • Many teachers enjoy creating classroom jeopardy games to quiz their students on recent topics. Classroom jeopardy is an excellent way to review for upcoming tests. Divide students into equal groups and use a buzzer system, like the Classroom Jeopardy Team Remotes, to determine who gets to answer each question. This fun activity may make your class a little competitive, so make sure to give every team a reward of some kind!

  • Dominoes is a classic game that has been played by countless kids and adults for ages. Dominoes can be used in a variety of different ways. The game can be played in the traditional manner or blocks can be set up in a snaking system so that when one is toppled over, the entire system topples over in a cascading wave. This kind of activity is a great way for children to improve their fine motor skills and dexterity.
