I am a songwriter... So I use my pens extensively and my cartridge of choice has been Parker Gel until now... This refill actually does "slide" across the paper with such viscosity that it may take you a minute to acclimate... and the distribution of ink is dark and even... So far I am totally satisfied with the performance and would definitely recommend it...
