Pizza Fractions Poster

Math teachers rejoice! Teaching fractions just got easier. The pizza fractions poster is a wonderful resource that uses slices of pizza to demonstrate fractions. There's even a handy resource guide on the back of the poster so you don't have to do all of the lesson planning yourself.

This classroom sized poster is 17" x 22" so your students will be able to see it from their desks or tables. The pizza math fractions for kids chart features eight different fractions along with eight different cartoon images of pizza. Each fraction is represented three ways: as a round pizza, as a rectangular pizza, and as pizza toppings. For example, the pizza topping used to represent the fraction 1/4 is an onion.

This fun and colorful chart will delight your math students as they learn the basics of fractions. You can use this actively with a lesson on fractions or hang it on the wall as a passive reference guide for your students. Either way, you'll hear the joy in their voices as they confidently answer your questions about fractions, and you may even hear their stomachs rumble at the thought of all that pizza.

I love these charts with just enough info, yet not too busy.  Works well to pull out and use temporarily or even part of a math wall.
