The letters are beautiful, sturdy, a good size, easy to clean unlike wood, easy for little hands to transport, easy to store on the classroom shelf, and perfect for the Montessori teacher that prefers the traditional patterns (red vowels & blue constanants). The only negative is the shape of the letter "x". Very pleased with the item.
